Lastly, if that doesn't help they usually suggest to delete the Bluetooth settings, reboot and try again. If that doesn't help, then they usually suggest unpairing and repairing the devices. With all this said, just wanted to share, and see if anyone had been able to solve the problem.įor most BT issues, Apple typically suggests toggling Bluetooth on and off, and a reboot. The plus here is I don't have a battery to deal with (other than the UPS.) I did hear though this affects both Desktops, and Laptops. I'm thinking, I wouldn't even know if I had the issue or not since I don't let the Mac go to sleep. I have use the wired Apple USB keyboard, and a Logitech Tri-Athlon mouse, which is both BT and RF, but usually just use RF because I've never been a fan of BT, but I've warmed up to it for audio. Sleep used to cause problems for these things, so I disabled sleep and only have the display turn off when inactive, or I lock the screen manually. I run Plex Media Server, and Serviio Media Server on the Mac, as well have active SMB shares for programs like Infuse for local streaming. I have a late 2015 27" iMac, and I haven't used sleep in years. I didn't even know it was an issue until Mr. I came by to see what people were saying about this issue.
