Subject: Team Member License - Experience and Use Althaus So if you need your users to access more environments, they need more than one App Pass. Moreover, the App Pass is for one environment only. However, it is something to consider if plan to have power users on the license. Looking at, the somewhat limited, telemetry from the Power Platform Admin Center, I do not foresee that the limit of 1.000 API request / 24 hours is going to be an issue for our users with this license. the number of API requests / 24 hours is 1.000 for the Per App license compared to 5.000 for Power Apps per User and Team Member (20.000 for Dynamics 365 Sales etc.). There are some limitations to the Power Apps per App license that needs to be considered. Moreover, we don not want to be using the Sales Team Member App, so there is really not much to do other than switch license. However, we can save $30 per user/month on the Power Apps per User license, so overall it's fine move for us. It might be a slightly higher license fee for the current Team Member users. And if they need more, we can always add an additional App Pass and still keep the cost lower than the $40. They only use one app, and are working with Accounts and Opportunities, so that will work fine for us. We will move those users to the Power Apps per App license as well.
We also have a good bunch of users on the Power Apps per User license at $40 per user/month. to work with opportunities and accounts) without having to change their license going forward. The good thing with that is, that we can easily grant them more privileges (e.g. They will get an Power Apps per App license instead at $10 per user/month. Currently we only use the Team Member license for 'read-only' users. We are going to ditch the Team Member license from the start of 2021 (which is also what I think Microsoft wants all of us to do with upcoming restrictions).
